The LA Times Sunday had a great piece about a bunch of kids in the San Francisco Bay Area whose classmate Rodrigo was unexpectedly (and inexplicably) deported earlier this year, and have been rallying support to get him back.
In addition, they've used a very popular video game called "Minecraft" where players work together to build worlds as a means of staying connected with Rodrigo.
A virtual world is not the kingdom we might have expected. But it is no less profound.
